Item Description
VIDAR CAD PRO MAMMOGRAPHY FILM DIGITIZER WITH VIDAR CLINICAL EXPRESS MAMMO SOFTWARE LICENSE, PC AND MONIOTR.
JUST SERVICED BY VIDAR!
HISTORY: The CADOPRO unit was in service until approximately March 2010. The unit was taken in on a trade in and we immediately had it serviced by Vidar. It will be covered by Vidar's 90-day service warranty until the end of September.
The unit is in perfect condition according to VIDAR.
SN 320147
PN 17032-002
We will couple this with a new Clinical Express Mammo license and provide a new PC and monitors to make a complete digitizing system. The software and hardware will have a full warranty. The CADPRO has a 90-warranty after this last service. It expires at the end of September.
The CAD PRO Advantage film digitizer was specifically designed and engineered for use in mammography CAD (computer-aided diagnosis) systems. CAD systems incorporate advanced pattern recognition and image analysis, requiring a film digitizer that meets the highest standards of image quality and reliability. These advanced systems enable radiologists to improve their ability to detect early stage cancers in an efficient manner.
By meeting these rigorous requirements, CAD PRO Advantage is an ideal fit for mammography facilities transitioning to digital technology. It provides the ability to quickly digitize film-based prior studies and, when coupled with the appropriate software, uses the DICOM MG standard to identify the specific mammography view contained on each film. Prior studies are correctly displayed on the mammography reporting
workstation alongside the newly acquired digital mammography study.
Mammography. ClinicalExpress provides a dedicated user interface for
digitizing Mammography priors. A visual display allows the user to quickly see if
the films are in the proper order for application of DICOM MG hanging protocols. Radiologists see the prior images along with the new digital study on the Mammography reading workstation with their hanging protocol preferences
applied. Most importantly, radiologists can focus on their task with fewer interruptions and without moving between 2 different reading technologies (a soft read workstation and a film view box). This has a negative impact on the visual system as well as a radiologist’s concentration
