VENDOR DESCRIPTION
Gaymar Alternating Pressure Relief Systems are designed for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. Pressure relief is obtained by alternating the patient support areas of the Gaymar pad. By bridging the tissue, pressure relief is achieved between the inflated cells and bottoming out is avoided. Capillary blood flow is permitted and damaging tissue pressures are avoided.

The Gaymar AFP255 Airflo Pump alternately inflates and deflates two sets of air cells in a PAF655 Airflo Pad. To minimize patient movement, inflation of one set of cells begins before the alternate set is fully deflated. Airflo Pads also provide air flow from the pad which helps minimize moisture buildup. The Airflo Pump may also be used with E301, EFF301, and P500 Pillo Pads (which do not provide air flow).
