Is the upgrade equivalent to the new one in that it should communicate directly to the computer without floppy disks....also, was it ever damaged? Lastly, is the price or shipping negotiable?	It can be upgraded to the ld 500 model, contact Paradigm Medical Group for price and software. The Dicon LD400 just had its nomal inspection and calibration, it has never been abused, and the price can be decussed....Thanks for your interest
Was this upgraded to be equivalent to the 500 model?	It has all upgrades as of 2008. I'm sending pic of actual unit, if interested contact me.
