Hi, I guess my free text question did not reach you. The system made me select the question below (well, it made me pick one, so I chose that one). My real question is about the bulbs (what kind does it take?) and the plug, I want it to be hidden when the piece is mounted on the wall, just wanted to make sure that was possible with this one. If not, I am open to suggestions of another type of light box.	This units takes a standard F14T8/D Fluorescent tube. The cord comes out of end but could probably be modified to come out back if so desired. I have additional pictures that I could send. BTW, you did see that this is designed for dental size Xrays? Is that what you need or are you looking for a larger lightbox? We do have others. We do have some stainless boxes as well. I think almost all of them are going to have cord come out side of box instead of rear, unless they were designed to be recess mounted boxes. I think all of the units we have are surface mount style. Reason plug doesn't go out back is because it would tend to get crimped and pinched behind the box when mounted on wall. However, you should be able to drill a hole wherever you want to feed the cord out and re-wire it fairly simply. For insurance purposes, we would not want to do that kind of work - if something ever led to an electrical problem, fire, etc our insurer would not be impressed to find we were re-routing wiring away from mfr specs. However, there is certainly nothing illegal about it. Any good handyman or electrician (or weekend workshop warrior) should be able to do it. Shipping on the little guys should be around $___. For the stainless buy, it weighs more and is larger. Could be $___+. We would need a ship address to calculate.
